Talks and teachings at next are varied. Our base text is the Bible. We use it to explore how to live authentically and generously in the nitty gritty of everyday life.
From February until the end of May, we are doing a study of the book of Phillipians on Sunday mornings. In January and February, we did a sermon series on our Four Winds (the four things we focus our energy on) – Intergenerational Worship, Discipleship, Using our building as a Community Hub, and Connecting with other Churches. We also spent two weeks talking on New Winds (a few more things that we care about), which included Decolonization and Baptism.
Also during Winter-Spring 2019, several small groups are studying the book ‘Unsettling the Word: Biblical Experiments in Decolonization‘.
